More than 2,700 St. Louisans lent their support to the Saint Louis Zoo — and had a lot of fun while doing so — during Zoofari. Attendees were treated to tasty hors d'oeuvres, main dishes and desserts from more than 60 local restaurants; live music by Fabulous Motown Revue, Soul Alliance, Arvell and Co., Galaxy Red and The Commodores; and a silent auction that included items like trips to Paris and Africa, New York City Fashion Week, fine jewelry and tickets to the Masters. The event brought in more than $800,000 for the zoo's efforts in saving endangered species here and around the world.
